If we can't trust Al Gore, who can we trust?

It seems people are confused and disillusioned about who to believe and trust when the subject is global warming and climate change. I say trust scientists who are not employed by or receive funding from the government, meaning politicians. There are a few of us out here in the wilderness, crying out for the truth. Here is a typical concern of many people:

You should (publish a blog discrediting Al Gore). I would be really
curious how people would respond. Are you the only one who really has
disdain for the man or would you have followers or common thinkers who feel like
you do.

It just seems to me that there are so many reputable
people coming out and agreeing that the planet is warming and the oceans are
rising and there are some serious concerns in the atmosphere. Maybe all
the information is not accurate or it may even be theory but to me there are
enough serious scientists reporting their data in a somewhat alarming way.
Now should we all go buy property in Central and Northern Canada. Probably
not but one should at least read up and be objective. Now, when it comes
to our current leaders in power. Non of what they said was true about
Iraq. And they are still lying.

Do you really think Al
Gore is a big fat liar or just working the data in his
interest?

curious,
