Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1500 Years

This is an extremely important book that should be read by everyone interested in the issue of global warming. I have not read it yet so I'm including a well-written review from Amazon.com. Let's hear what you have to say on the subject.

Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1,500 Years (Paperback) by Dennis T. Avery (Author), S. Fred Singer (Author) (74 customer reviews)

Reviewer:
Dave Ball - See all my reviews Avery and Singer present a concise and well-supported account of the vast physical evidence of historical climate change, including evidence of both warming and cooling before the industrial revolution. They include ample scientific evidence from around the globe, collected and interpreted by hundreds of highly qualified scientists, to make the undeniable point that the globe is currently in a warming cycle, and that we need to adapt to that warming rather than fight a fruitless and extremely costly battle. The warming cycle they document will occur over the next few hundred years whether or not we turn off the porch light, outlaw incandescent light bulbs, or force Americans to live in abject stone age conditions. They point out that draconian measures advocated to combat warming will collapse the economies of the major world powers; that simple things such as improved agricultural methods and basic sanitation would have vastly more positive impact on humanity (and most especially in poor countries) at a fraction of the cost. The Human-Induced-Global-Warming crowd will not be convinced regardless of the scientific evidence presented by this book; however, this book is a major contribution to the HIGW debate that will impact those interested in objective science rather than emotion or elitist causes -- that is, until the HIGW proponents succeed in silencing all scientific debate in the name of science

Both Singer and Avery have been writing about Climate Change long before it became such a popular topic of concern. Their expertise should not be dismissed. Those who try to discredit them by labeling them 'deniers' or silence them by claiming the science is settled ought to be viewed as suspicious. Anyone honestly trying to resolve this issue should welcome their input.
