The following is an article and an interview with Dr. Timothy Ball, whom I've highlighted in an earlier posting on this blog. Here he states that he is certain that mankind is not causing global warming and climate change by releasing carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere. He is confident there is abundant scientific data and observations to support his claim. I completely agree. See what he has to say.

The Big Lie Of Global Warming
The so-called "Global Warming" would be part of a natural process, according to Ball.
We are wasting time, energy and trillions of dollars while creating unnecessary fear and consternation over an issue with no scientific justification: Global Warming is NOT caused by human intervention. By Timothy Ball as told to Orato Editor Cecilia Jamasmie , Canada

After a reported all-night session on April 5, the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released its second major report on Global Warming. Climate scientists and government policy administrators from more than 120 countries concluded that we’ve reached a point that is worse than previously thought. But Canadian climatologist Tim Ball, who wrote last year’s article Global Warming: The Cold, Hard Facts?, insists that Global Warming is a big lie and that he has accumulated enough scientific research to prove everybody wrong.
I said it once and I’ll say it as many times as I need to until somebody listens: Global Warming is not due to human contribution of Carbon Dioxide (CO2). This, in fact, is the greatest deception in the history of science. We are wasting time, energy and trillions of dollars while creating unnecessary fear and consternation over an issue with no scientific justification. We have created such a level of environmental hysteria that reason, rationality and facts are being thrown out the window.
In the last year, I’ve seen documentaries, read hundreds of comments in forums and witnessed how scientists around the world try to find the way to stop the effects of Global Warming. The big problem is that all those people do not understand what’s really going on. It’s all part of a natural process. In fact, since I obtained my doctorate in climatology from the University of London, Queen Mary College, England my career has spanned two climate cycles. Temperatures declined from 1940 to 1980 and in the early 1970's global cooling became the consensus. This proves that consensus is not a scientific fact. By the 1990's temperatures appeared to have reversed and Global Warming became the consensus. It appears I'll witness another cycle before retiring, as the major mechanisms and the global temperature trends now indicate a cooling.
Considering the scientific evidence that is available, the latest report on Global Warming by the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel (IPCC) on Climate Change appears to be nothing other than a big lie. They have no real evidence to prove what they are saying.
If we try lowering the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere we’ll put the entire ecosystem in jeopardy.
They are using the output of computer models that we know don’t work because there is not enough data on which to build the models, and we don’t understand enough about the different interactions between plants, animals, water, ice and temperatures to be able to plug that information into a model.
The best analogy for what’s going on would be to imagine a group of doctors claiming that they’ve developed a complete model of the human body, with which they could predict anything that will happen to any individual, when in reality, they only know about your circulatory system.
The UN reports –the summary for policy makers and the impact report - were both out before the actual scientific studies were released. Of course, that way they get all the media attention, all of the hype, without offering the real explanation. They are doing it completely backwards. Before the summary for policy makers was released, the science report was put aside in secrecy and then the politician got together and wrote a summary, which was sent back to the science group. Now its members are adjusting their study to fit what the summary says.
I’ve tried desperately to keep an open mind and I hope that if the evidence eventually shows I am wrong, then I’ll have the integrity to stand up and tell the world I was wrong. However, the facts continue to accumulate as they should, proving that the theories of Global Warming caused by human intervention are completely wrong.
The panel, politicians and environmentalists are playing on people’s fear and lack of understanding of the science. They have gone even further, telling everyone that if they don’t agree with scientists, they don’t care about the planet or the children who will inherit it.
People like Al Gore have created environmental hysteria.
Those are powerful weapons, especially if you leave them in the hands of people like Al Gore and the propaganda machine.
The only real thing to be afraid of is of what is going to happen when the public realizes that they’ve been substantially mislead in this relevant matter. They’ll lose the faith in scientists and they probably won’t deal with issues we all need to care about such as pollution, acid rain and endangered species, to name a few.
They’ve driven people to believe that CO2 is a pollutant when it’s not –it’s an essential element for the life on earth and the levels we have now are actually low. If we try lowering the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere we’ll be putting not only plants but the entire ecosystem in jeopardy.
If you look at the Canadian situation you’ll see we’ve wasted 6 billion dollars since 1997 and that money hasn’t changed anything. Moreover, some of those resources went towards a harmful research, which consisted of dropping iron filings, very small pieces of iron that look like a dark powder, into the Pacific Ocean to see how that increases the rate of absorption of CO2. This practice is part of an approach called “Geoengineering” and, in my opinion, it’s a very foolish method, especially when you don't know what can happen. You are more likely to create worse problems because of the potential damage to the chemistry of the upper layer of the ocean. It’s like painting your skin and not considering the interference with its normal function.
I wonder why nobody is saying anything about that.
The overall pressure of ignorance and misinformation is so great, that very large segments of our society has been bullied into silence and corporations have been bullied into hypocrisy, pretending that they are green when they are far from caring for the environment. We need to stop that and get our priorities in order. And I’m ready to help opening people’s eyes no matter the price.

With his credentials, Dr. Ball is a man who should be taken very seriously. Only those not truly concerned with the truth would ignore his concerns.
But how has he been received by the climate crisis crowd, those who claim to be motivated by factual evidence? Dr. Ball first was falsely accused of being funded by ExxonMobile and later received numerous death threats for his opposing views.
You have to wonder why anyone would go to such lengths to suppress his statements.
I have know geologist that until they were hit on the head with the facts knew less about global warming than many non-geologist. On the otherhand I hace close friends with PhD's in geology and they are very worried. Read about methane bubles and the melting permafrost in Siberia and Alaska and Sweden. What did you do as a geologist? Work for the Oil Companies? This kind of sloppy misleading rubbish from a "geolgist is unforgivable!

Peter was citing an interview with Dr. Ball, a climatologist whose credentials he has posted several times in this blog. He's provided a link back to the original article.
Where are your facts? Do these geologist friends of yours exist outside your imagination? If all you have to offer is your rude accusations, you're just a waste of space.
