Osama Bin Laden Joins Forces With Al Gore

Oh, this is good. Osama Bin Laden has joined forces with Al Gore, The United Nations, Barack Obama and others who seem determined to bring down America and destroy western civilization. The next thing you know Osama Bin Laden will be financing the campaigns of liberal Democrats running for election in America......if he isn't already.

Bin Laden blames U.S. for climate change
New tape from terror leader says global warming is 'an actual fact'
NBC News and news services
updated 7:35 a.m. CT, Fri., Jan. 29, 2010

CAIRO - Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden has called for the world to boycott American goods and the U.S. dollar, blaming the United States and other industrialized countries for global warming, according to a new audiotape released Friday.

In the tape, broadcast in part on Al-Jazeera television, bin Laden warned of the dangers of climate change and said that the way to stop it is to bring "the wheels of the American economy" to a halt.

He blamed Western industrialized nations for hunger, desertification and floods across the globe, and called for "drastic solutions" to global warming, and "not solutions that partially reduce the effect of climate change."

Bin Laden has mentioned climate change and global warning in past messages, but the latest tape was his first dedicated to the topic.

Climate change an 'actual fact'
The speech, which included almost no religious rhetoric, could be an attempt by the terror leader to give his message an appeal beyond Islamic militants.

"This is a message to the whole world about those responsible for climate change and its repercussions, intentionally or unintentionally, and about the action we must take," he said.

"Speaking about climate change is not an intellectual luxury, the phenomenon is actual fact."

He pointed out that former President George W. Bush had not signed the Kyoto emissions agreement although most industrialized countries did.

Grave ramifications
Bin Laden targeted the U.S. economy in particular in the recording, calling for a boycott of American products and an end to the dollar's domination as a world currency.

"We should stop dealings with the dollar and get rid of it as soon as possible," he said.

"I know that this has great consequences and grave ramifications, but it is the only means to liberate humanity from slavery and dependence on America."

He argued that such steps would also hamper Washington's war efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The new message, whose authenticity could not immediately be confirmed, comes after a bin Laden tape released last week in which he endorsed a failed attempt to blow up an American airliner on Christmas Day.

Climate Change Fraud Continues To Be Exposed

The biggest fraud in our lifetime is being exposed. Imagine, the charlatan, liar, and crook, Al Gore almost was elected President of the USA. Talk about dodging a bullet! I think it is time for the U.S. to pull out of the United Nations. Kick these con-artists out of New York City. Send them someplace where they would be welcome, like Cuba, or Venezuela, or North Korea.

More Questionable Material Found in U.N. Climate Report
Tuesday, January 26, 2010
By Patrick Goodenough, International Editor
Source

IPCC publicity material circulated in media prior to the release of the 2007 Fourth Assessment report (Image: IPCC)(CNSNews.com) – The U.N. climate report that contains an erroneous claim on the rate of glacier retreat also includes references to studies not originating from peer-reviewed scientific literature, some of them linked to environmental activists.

A review of references listed in the four-volume 2007 U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report shows that it includes reports linked to various green groups, including WWF and Greenpeace.

The IPCC has now admitted that the report contains a “poorly substantiated” prediction that Himalayan glaciers will disappear by 2035.

The glacier claim originated from a 1999 news report that apparently misrepresented one non peer-reviewed study, was reproduced in a 2005 report by the WWF advocacy group, and then – despite a supposedly exhaustive drafting the reviewing process – found its way into the IPCC report.

IPCC defenders have accused critics of blowing out of proportion a single small mistake in a huge document. IPCC chairman Rajendra Pachauri also noted that it was just “one” error in a 938-page report.

But researchers digging into the document have begun to find other questionable assertions too, again attributed to non-peer-reviewed sources.

-- British investigative researcher Dr. Richard North found a claim in the report that “up to 40% of the Amazonian forests could react drastically to even a slight reduction in precipitation.”

The reference cited by IPCC for this claim was a 2000 report produced by WWF in conjunction with another advocacy group, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The two authors are a policy analyst and “forest fire management specialist” who works for IUCN and WWF, and an investigative journalist.

-- Ben Pile, co-author of Climate Resistance, noted that an assertion in the same IPCC report that climate change could contribute to reducing rain-based crop yield in Africa by 50 percent by 2020 had originated from a report by another advocacy organization, the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD).

The IPCC report in the spotlight was one of four released in a series of high-profile events during 2007, and together known as the Fourth Assessment Report. It was six years in the making, and the IPCC said in publicity material at the time that it was the work of more than 2,500 scientific expert reviewers, more than 800 contributing authors and 450 lead authors from more than 130 countries.

The Fourth Assessment Report has been used to guide governments in determining climate policies affecting hundreds of millions of people, and by advocacy groups in pressing governments to do more. The IPCC is currently working on its Fifth Assessment Report, and on Jan. 15 opened nominations for authors and reviewers. It is due to be finalized in 2014.

The reliance of peer-reviewed material – material that has been scrutinized by other experts in the same scientific field – is aimed at minimizing the likelihood that unsound assertions can make their way into IPCC reports.

Although the IPCC’s procedures for compiling reports do permit the use of “selected non-peer reviewed literature,” they also stress that the “source, quality and validity of non-peer reviewed literature, such as private sector information need to be critically assessed by the authors.”

The IPCC in 2007 shared the Nobel peace prize with global warming advocate Al Gore. In the wake of controversies dogging the U.N. body, some critics are now calling for the award to be rescinded or returned. (I second this opinion, Peter)

“To restore its credibility, the IPCC should return its half of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize and replace its current leadership,” National Center for Public Policy Research president Amy Ridenour said. The move would “signal to the world that the IPCC is serious about reform.”

Ridenour said if the body did not take that and other steps in response to the recent developments, “the Obama Administration should use its influence to have it shut down.”

Global Warming Farce Becoming Better Than Late Nite Comedy

The entire global warming scandal involving the IPCC, Al Gore, Copenhagen, ClimateGate and our completely ignorant President Obama would be enormously funny......if it were not so serious. Billions upon billions of dollars wasted because of lies, deception and fraud. To paraphrase Jimmy Buffet, (I believe)......"if we couldn't laugh we would all go insane."

Monday Meltdown: IPCC Undone, MEP Rage and Browning Greens

The global warming hoax is falling apart fast and may already have passed the point of recovery. Credibility is a fine thing until you don’t have any, as the AGW community is finding out.

IPCC Undone

The IPCC might be forgiven for being surprised by the sudden chill in the air surrounding its scientific credibility and questions about its leader’s veracity. Only a couple of years ago Rajendra Pachauri accepted the plaudits of the Nobel Committee as he stood alongside Al Gore, the P.T. Barnum of the global warming circus and basked in the glow of an adoring media. In light of the latest revelations of IPCC fraud, the media is calling for Pachauri’s head, and his response is to… deny the problem. How quickly things change when the truth is revealed.

MEP Rage

First we had MEP Daniel Hannan eviscerating Gordon Brown for our YouTube delight, now we have another British MEP all fired up about global warming. When did the European Parliament become so entertaining?

View the YouTube video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYj5baVfB0Y

And here is Jimmy Buffet......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56nHBah7mdE

Browning Greens

Scott Brown, the GOP Senator-elect from Massachussetts has upset more than Obamacare’s schedule. Brown’s victory made yellow Blue-dog Democrats turn into opponents of green cap and trade legislation. No need for colorful metaphors.

Now We Have GoogleGate: A Form Of Mind Control

Now we learn how Google manipulates and influences public opinion. They do it much the same way Wikipedia does, by censoring the information that is made available to people using the internet and doing searches for information. This is truly frightening when one considers who is behind this form of mind-control, and why. Read on.

Better off with Bing by Lawrence Soloman, National Post

Googlegate: The search engine may be standing up to Chinese censors. What about Google’s own censors?

This week, Google announced an end to its long-standing collaboration with the Chinese Communists — it will no longer censor users inside China.

That’s good of it. Maybe Google will now also stop using its search engine to censor the rest of us, in the Western countries.

Search for “Googlegate” on Google and you’ll get a paltry result (my result yesterday was 29,300). Search for “Googlegate” on Bing, Microsoft’s search engine competitor, and the result numbers an eye-popping 72.4 million. If you’re a regular Google user, as opposed to a Bing user, you might not even know that “Googlegate” has been a hot topic for years in the blogosphere — that’s the power that comes of being able to control information.

Despite Google’s motto of “Do No Evil,” it has long been controversial and suspected of evil-doing — and not just in its cooperation with China, or in protecting itself by hiding criticism of itself from unsuspecting Google users. In recent months, most of the evil-doing has focused on the Climategate scandal, the startling emails from the Climate Research Unit in the UK that show climate change scientists to be cooking the books.

For many weeks now, readers have been sending me emails describing how Google has been doing its best to hide information relating to Climategate, which has been the single biggest story on the Internet since the Climategate emails came to light on November 19. By Nov. 26, the term had gone viral and Google returned more results for “climategate” (10.4 million) than for “global warming” (10.1 million). As the Climate Scandal exploded, and increasing numbers of blog sites covered it, the number of web pages with Climategate continued to climb. On Dec. 7, Google’s search engine found 31.6 million hits for people who searched for “Climategate.”

Sometime around then, in early December, Google began to minimize the Climategate scandal by hiding Climategate pages from its users. By Dec. 17, the number of climategate pages that a Google search found dropped by almost 10 million, to 22.2 million. One day later Google dropped its find by another 8 million pages, to 14.1 million. By Dec. 23, Google could find only 7.5 million hits and on Dec. 24 just 6 million. And yesterday, when I checked, Google reported a mere 1.8 million climategate pages.

Bing, in contrast, didn’t make climategate pages disappear. As you’d expect from a search engine that wasn’t manipulating data, search results on Bing climbed steadily until they peaked at around 51 million, where they have remained since.

Starting in late November, Google has been keeping the public in the dark about Climategate in other ways, too. Ordinarily, when people begin keying in their search terms, Google helpfully suggests the balance of their text, through an automatic feature it calls Google Suggests.

At the very beginning of the Climategate scandal, before it became huge, Google Suggests worked as advertised. If someone typed in c-l-i-, Google would have shown them “climategate” on a list of options. Many people, in fact, learned about Climategate this very way, because most major media outlets had not yet picked up on the scandal. As Climategate rose in intensity, the term also rose in prominence on the Google Suggest list — anyone keying in c-l-i would see “climategate” at the top of the list.

But suddenly in late November, for reasons known only to Google, Google often would not suggest “climategate” to those who keyed in c-l-i. Even c-l-i-m-a or c-l-i-m-a-t-e-g-a-t weren’t enough to solicit a suggestion. Bing, in contrast, did not and does not steer users away from climategate — it has consistently suggested “climategate” to those who keyed in c-l-i or even c-l.

For those whom Google can’t steer away from “climategate,” and who key in all 11 letters to learn about the eye-opening emails, Google goes the extra yard in keeping people in the dark — it dishes up a page that trivializes the scientific significance of climategate. Those who click on Google’s “I’m feeling lucky” after asking for “climategate” find themselves on a Wikipedia page entitled “Climatic Research Unit hacking incident” that downplays the content of the emails and focuses on the “unauthorised release of thousands of emails and other documents obtained through the hacking of a server,” the “illegal taking of data,” the “Law enforcement agencies [that] are investigating the matter as a crime,” and “the death threats that were subsequently made against climate scientists named in the emails.”

For those who don’t use Google’s “I’m feeling lucky” feature, Google presents them with this one-sided Wikipedia page as the first item in its search results. Wikipedia actually has a page called “Climategate” that contains damning information about the scientists caught up in the scandal but its own censors won’t let the public see it — anyone who tries to key in “Climategate” on the Wikipedia site will be instantly redirected to the Wikipedia-approved version of climategate, where the scandal is described as nothing more than “a smear campaign.”

Why would Google want to tamp down interest in climategate? Money and power could have something to do with it. Search for Google and its founders and you’ll see that they have made big financial bets on global warming through investments in renewable and other green technologies; that they have a close relationship with Al Gore, that Google CEO Eric Schmidt is close to Barack Obama.

But search for Googlegate and you’ll also see that more than money is at stake. The accusations against Google of censorship are wide-spread, involving schemes to elect Barack Obama, attacks on Christianity (key in “Christianity is” and Google will suggest unflattering completions to the phrase), and political correctness (key in “Islam is” and nothing negative is suggested).

The bottom line? Google is as inscrutable as the Chinese, and perhaps no less corrupt. For safe searches, you’re best off with Bing.

The Truth About Global Warming

Danny Glover: The Environmental Idiot

Danny Glover should stick to acting. When it is said global warming alarmism is the "new religion" one of the leading prophets must be Danny Glover. How could anyone be so stupid as to believe "Mother Earth" is punishing us with the Haiti earthquake because of the failure to regulate carbon dioxide emissions at that climate meeting fiasco in Copenhagen?

Mann-Made Global Warming

What a scandal! Billions of dollars wasted on a hoax and a fraud. That is exactly what the modern science is that has created the myth of man-caused global warming. Every one of us has been lied to and cheated. Read on.

Climategate Scandal Broadens

Certified consulting meteorologist Joseph D’Aleo of Icecap.us and a computer programmer from San Jose, Michael Smith, have written an expose of extensive manipulation of the temperature data by the federal government’s National Climate Data Center (NCDC) in Asheville, North Carolina and NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) at Columbia University in New York City. D’Aleo says in the report, “NOAA is seriously complicit in data manipulation and fraud…CRU’s Director at the time Phil Jones acknowledges that CRU mirrors the NOAA data. ‘Almost all the data we have in the CRU archive is exactly the same as in the Global Historical Climatology Network (GHCN) archive used by the NOAA National Climatic Data Center.’”

John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel, aired a special last night on KUSI-TV covering their discoveries: A 14-minute video segment is available here. The report’s four key revelations:

1. NCDC is no longer monitoring many actual temperature stations. Coleman explains, “In the transition to a computer averaging system, the National Data Climate Center deleted actual temperatures at thousands of locations throughout the world as it evolved to a system of global grid boxes. The number that goes into each grid box is determined by averaging the temperatures of two or more weather observation stations nearest that grid box.” This method is inaccurate according to D’Aleo because “temperatures are not linear over space, but instead vary enormously because of differences in terrain, elevation, vegetation, water versus land and urbanization." It also makes an apples and oranges situation, comparing today’s averaged grid boxes to past actual station temperatures.

2. The number of weather stations NCDC uses was reduced 75%, from approximately 6,000 to 1,000 stations.

3. The vast majority of the stations cut from the record were from the cooler higher latitudes and altitudes. Smith says, "The more I looked, the more I found patterns of deletion that could not be accidental. Thermometers moved from cold mountains to warm beaches; from Siberian Arctic to more southerly locations and from pristine rural locations to jet airport tarmacs. The last remaining Arctic thermometer in Canada is in a place called 'The Garden Spot of the Arctic,’ always moving away from the cold and toward the heat.”

4. Temperatures then were altered by “homogenization,” a process which always seemed to result in higher readings. According to the report,”the data centers then performed some final adjustments to the gathered data before final analysis. These adjustments are in some cases frequent and undocumented. Examining raw data versus processed final data shows numerous examples where the adjusted data shows a warming trend where the raw data had little change.”
